Economic and mathematical model for investing into regional programs for replacing natural gas, coal and oil products by solid alternative fuel

Annotation:

One of the most important problems that occur when managing municipal and industrial solid waste is to minimize its disposal in landfills and dumps, to effectively prepare and organize its use as secondary raw materials and secondary fuel and energy resources (FER), to significantly reduce its negative impact on the environment and to preserve valuable natural resources such as natural gas, petroleum products and coal. In the framework of energy utilization of waste, a promising direction is production and use of alternative fuel in various industries and in the energy sector. An economic-mathematical model has been developed for selecting the optimal strategy of replacing traditional fuel and energy resources by solid alternative fuel in regional energy and resource conservation programs. Based on the formulated statement of the optimization problem and the proposed structure of the economic-mathematical model, all stages of the model building are considered, the main restrictions that form the range of acceptable values are described and the type and composition of the functional are substantiated. The problem is reduced to a partially integer linear programming problem and is focused on the use of existing highly efficient software products.
