Annotation:
The authors of the article consider the pressing issue of associated petroleum gas (APG) utilization. Currently, the volume of flared associated petroleum gas is increasing every year. Gas flaring not only results in the loss of an irreplaceable energy resource but also causes serious environmental damage. It stimulates the greenhouse effect and is harmful to living organisms and human health. The authors identified the conditions that determine the profitability of using APG injection technology in wells: geological, infrastructural, technological and technical-technological. It was established that the key factor when assessing the profitability of gas injection technology in wells is the volume of recoverable APG. The authors propose using a customizable jet pump developed by specialists of Tyumen Industrial University for APG injection. This pump can be automatically controlled to meet changing conditions in absorption wells.
