Some specific features of the current state of development and applied technologies for operating the BS4-5 formation

Annotation:

The authors of the article provide general information and an analysis of the current state of the BS4-5 formation at the field, located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of the Tyumen Region. It is the primary development target at this field. The reasons for well abandonment are discussed, and information on the development of several well development systems is presented. To provide a more detailed analysis, sections of the main reservoir are identified by the types of development systems implemented. The problems of the BS4-5 formation are analyzed, and it is concluded that it has high gas content and low reservoir pressure. These problems can be solved by implementing gas annular evacuation technology, which will allow for the removal of excess gas and increase reservoir drawdown by reducing annular pressure.
