Annotation:
The authors of the article consider the design of spacer and plugging materials used in primary wells cementing in the Kharasaveyskoe gas condensate field. Designed cementing materials, under varying pressures and temperatures in the annular and inter-annular spaces, produce cement stones with high volumetric shrinkage, with the effect of chemical reagents on its increase, thus leading to various complications occurrence during the primary cementing process. Consequently, they cannot ensure reliable protection of the subsurface and the environment by ensuring the tightness of casing strings, their annular and inter-annular spaces or the required isolation of fluid-containing horizons–primarily gas- and water-saturated horizons. A significant improvement of primary casing strings cementing quality in mining and geological conditions of the Kharasaveyskoye gas condensate field can be achieved by the rational selection of new compositions of spacer and cementing mixtures and improved technologies of their practical application, ensuring operational reliability and increasing wells flow rates.
