Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS) are strategically important partners for the Russian Federation, working together to address global challenges and enhance the country’s economic potential. Standardization plays a key role in fostering mutually beneficial trade and technological exchange among these nations. This study analyzes the national standardization frameworks of BRICS member states, assesses the degree of harmonization between their standards, and explores prospects for collaboration in international standardization. Further convergence of regulatory and technical requirements among BRICS countries will deepen trade and economic cooperation while boosting Russia’s technological competitiveness.
