Some specific features of the hydrocarbons development on the Arctic shelf (using the example of the Kamennomysskoe-more gas field)

Annotation:

In the context of growing energy consumption, which continues to be dominated by hydrocarbon resources, the values of oil and natural gas as raw materials for many industries in conditions of limited resources, the issues of prospecting and development of deposits in the Arctic territories characterized by harsh climatic conditions are becoming important. It is here that the largest volume of promising resources and proven hydrocarbon reserves is currently concentrated. The authors of the article analyze various conditions of the territory of the Kamennomysskoye-more deposit development, located on the shelf of the Ob bay of the Kara sea. The main design solutions of the facilities are given, from the point of view of ensuring industrial safety and geo-ecology and the specific features of the technological scheme development. Unique solutions for the arrangement and control of geotechnical system parameters aimed at improving the reliability of mining facilities and preserving the natural landscapes of the fragile ecological system of the Arctic are presented for various areas of development (marine, coastal and onshore).
