Annotation:

The authors of the article analyze modern technological equipment for repairing deep-sea pipelines and some specific features of its application. The main technologies of deep-sea pipelines modern repair, types of vessels and various technical means involved in these technologies as well as the main manufacturers of the specified equipment are considered. A preliminary assessment of the possibility of using these technologies and equipment for deep-water repair of offshore pipelines in the Russian Federation is carried out taking into account operational and capital costs, including the cost of chartering vessels, purchasing heavy lifting equipment and remotely operated unmanned underwater vehicles (ROV). The main prospects for the existing technologies development for underwater repair of pipelines are determined in order to minimize time and economic costs. Recommendations for improving the domestic technology of deep-sea repair based on the autonomous repair complex "Tulpar" are given. The presented approach is aimed at creating an independent, high-tech infrastructure for the repair of underwater oil and gas pipelines without involving foreign contractors.
