Annotation:

The authors of the article state the fact that the use of quantitative process risks analysis allows for a more accurate assessment of potential threats and the adoption of appropriate measures to prevent and manage them. It helps companies making informed safety decisions and developing effective risk management strategies. The conceptual framework for safety is based on ensuring the safety of technical installations, equipment, and structures of hazardous production facilities as well as accounting for fixed assets aging in the gas industry, the necessity of reducing operational costs and optimizing the costs of maintaining the required level of safe operation at PJSC “Gazprom” hazardous production facilities. That’s why, the term "risk" is introduced to indicate the probability of occurring undesirable consequences with the specified damage.
