Annotation:
The authors of the article consider a promising method for enhancing oil recovery from oil source formation (OSF) rocks, combining thermal stimulation by means of an electric heating cable and light oil (solvent) injection. An approach to reservoir-wide implementation of the technology, taking into account geological specific features (zonal distribution of productivity), is presented. A full-scale hydrodynamic model of a selected section of horizontal wells with multi-section hydraulic fracturing (MSHF) is used. The results of the technology calculations for a well located in a low-productivity zone are presented, and the efficiency and percentage of additional oil recovered due to the involvement of the low-permeable portion of the low-permeable zone are analyzed. The potential of this technology for the involvement of hydrocarbons (HC) from low-permeable source rocks due to the synergistic effect of kerogen activation, improved filtration properties of rocks and the use of light oil as a solvent that penetrates even small pores, bringing the liquid HC desorption from kerogen and the migration of oil, which, when developing source rocks under natural depletion conditions, is considered an unrecoverable resource, is presented.
