Annotation:

The authors of the article consider the experience of applying the radon-based indicator method used for determining inflow profile, assessing the technical state of the casing and the behind-casing space and determining the type of reservoir saturation in the perforated intervals. The method was tested in the oil fields of the Komi Republic. The study demonstrates the similarity between the results obtained using the radon method and those ones from standard well logging investigations, non-correspondence and its probable reasons are revealed. Conclusions are drawn regarding the effectiveness of the technology and applicability criteria.
