Annotation:
The construction of wells in the Timan-Pechora oil- and gas-bearing province is characterized by various complications. The authors of the article devoted it to solving problems, occurring in the course of wells construction with large deviations from the vertical and long length along the wellbore as well as the measures used to prevent complications that can occur during such wells construction. The experience of using contemporary high-tech solutions such as the use of hydrocarbon-based drilling fluids, casing running down with rotation, the use of a pressure-controlled drilling system and casing string drilling.
