Annotation:

The authors of the article assess the development of distributed energy technologies by analyzing publications on this topic in the information and analytical databases of scientific publications such as Scopus, SciVal, eLIBRIRY and ScienceDirect. Leaders of countries and institutes/universities in publications on this topic were identified. The markets of distributed energy technologies were assessed: distributed generation, smart grids, storage systems, control systems, demand management. The main manufacturers (countries and companies) and users of distributed energy technologies have been identified. Based on an analysis of publications and assessment of the distributed energy technologies markets, an assessment of the development of distributed energy technology was made and recommendations were developed for Russia. The features, problems and prospects for the development of distributed energy technologies in Russia are identified. In addition, the conditions for the development and additional effects produced by the development of distributed energy technologies are determined. The most promising distributed energy technologies to be developed in Russia have been identified.
