Some specific features of taking into account uncertainty factors in risk assessment models and risk-based management of oil and gas companies

Annotation:

In modern economic realities, oil and gas industry companies are increasingly exposed to technological, currency and production risks, as technically difficult, capital-intensive and long-term projects are often implemented. They combine such processes as the preparation of explored deposits for development, the processes of drilling wells and their development, the extraction of hydrocarbon raw materials, the processes of preparing extracted raw materials for transportation and processing, processing and finally the sale of finished products. However, one should not forget about the specifics of the industry itself, the difficulties that arise in each management process of oil and gas companies. Thus, the issues of risk-based management remain the most urgent and require special attention from the management of oil and gas companies and the state, being the main players in the domestic and foreign markets of energy resources and products of oil and gas processing and petrochemical industry.
