Information support for the activities of the petrochemical cluster

Annotation:

Industrial clusters ensure the economic development of regions because they stimulate the emergence of innovations, allow for higher-quality products, reduce costs for logistics, technological operations and services as well as ensure the involvement and coordination of stakeholders. Organizations of small- and medium-sized businesses in their composition are becoming more competitive. The petrochemical cluster supplies intermediate products to the oil and gas complex, it is a link ensuring the development of not only the Omsk region, but also those territories where their consumers are located. The aim of the authors of the article is to analyze information support for the activities of the petrochemical cluster. The authors consider the web content of the cluster members' websites as an object of research. The research methods are monographic, statistical and system analysis. The authors decided to divide the content of the sites from the perspective of sustainable development concept, i.e. reflecting the economic, environmental and social components of the organization activities. In the course of the analysis, sections with full, partial and missing descriptions were highlighted. The authors noted that the economic aspects of the activity are most highlighted on the websites. The leading organizations for information support using their website have been identified. Coverage of the petrochemical cluster's activities ensures the trust of stakeholders in it, attracts new participants, creates an image and closer communications, which leads to sales growth.
