Annotation:
In the context of growing competition and changing demand for energy resources, especially in the Asia-Pacific region, the analysis of opportunities and prospects for the development of liquefied natural gas (LNG) is becoming especially relevant to ensure energy security and economic growth in Russia. The domestic market has a number of opportunities to diversify export routes of liquefied natural gas from Russia, which is caused by the key factors contributing to successful integration into new markets in a changing geopolitical and economic context. The authors of the article analysed the current state and trends in the global LNG market, existing and potential export routes for Russian LNG, with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region as well as considered proposals for optimizing the LNG export strategy based on the data obtained.
