Annotation:
The paper discusses the problems related to the development of a software module for the implementation of the amplitude spectrum clustering technique. The paper provides a rationale for the choice of a programming language. Various clustering algorithms are tested in order to find the most optimal one for the analysis of seismic data. In addition, the paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the developed module on the example of two oil fields in the Western Siberia.
