Annotation:
The article deals with the problem of controlling gas extraction from an underwater main gas pipeline in conditions of a complete cessation of its supply, which can occur as a result of a planned shutdown or accident of the main compressor station. Estimates of the limiting time during which the selection is possible are given. Control actions are proposed that make it possible to significantly increase this time.
