Annotation:

The article deals with the problems of knowledge engineering in oil and gas investment projects. It is noted that the interest in such technologies in the oil and gas producing industry is high. The automated system developed on this basis is intended for theoretical and applied research in the field of economic modeling and modern information technologies in oil and gas investment projects. The practical significance of this development lies in the possibility of automated construction of optimal algorithms for calculating the main economic indicators, taking into account the content and volumes of the initial geological, technological and economic information in oil and gas projects. The developed mechanisms for computer simulation of economic indicators of field efficiency make it possible to solve the problem of constructing calculation algorithms for non-programmer users. The use of economic modeling and modern information technologies to evaluate the effectiveness of investment oil and gas projects can provide the heads of oil and gas companies with software for performing complex financial calculations in order to conduct a long-term forecasting and analysis of various options for the development of oil and gas fields.
