Annotation:

Digital transformation of the fuel and energy complex is one of the priority trends for technical solutions implementation with the help of modeling complexes. Development of modeling methods for preliminary testing of protections in various modes of the transformer operation makes it possible to take into account real circuit parameters that affect the operation of digital relay protections. The article presents the developed model in the Matlab Simulink software package, which stimulates the operation of the digital differential protection of a power transformer in various modes.
