Annotation:

In the process of the binding material hydration, the pressure created by the liquid phase of the cement slurry on the formation fluid decreases, thus leading to inter-formation cross-flows and migration of the formation fluid along the annular space. Modeling of this process is important for assessing the critical point of time when the system is most permeable to formation fluid penetration as well as for a better understanding of the process of channels formation by the fluid in the rock structure and along the place of contact with the boundary surface. The article analyzes scientific-research works devoted to mathematical models development for reducing the pore pressure of a cement slurry column during the WOC period, shows the advantages and disadvantages of these models and lists the factors that should be taken into account when modeling this process.
