The main productive object in the Srednebotuobinskoe oil and gas condensate field is the Botuobinsky horizon, composed by a terrigenous reservoir with an abnormally low reservoir pressure (hereinafter referred to as ALRP), with the inclusion of weakly cemented inter layers. The above mentioned features of the productive horizon negatively affect the drilling process due to the occurrence of drilling fluid complete losses during the drilling process. This fact negatively affects the time of wells drilling. Since the beginning of 2019, multilateral wells have been one of the key trends of drilling at the Srednebotuobinskoe oil and gas condensate field. As a result of drilling of side tracking horizontal of multilateral wellbores (hereinafter referred to as MWB), there occur losses of drilling fluid. The nature of absorption is not technological and is not caused by the process and modes of drilling. Losses at the Srednebotuobinskoe oil and gas condensate field can be characterized as geological anomalies, as they occur in the process of drilling, without changing its regimes. A sharp dip occurs, followed by an increase of the ROP and loss of circulation, which confirms the heterogeneity of the productive reservoir and the presence of weakly cemented zones with increased permeability up to 5000 mD [6]. Controlled pressure drilling (CPD) technology is required to ensure the process of drilling a horizontal section without loss of drilling fluid. The use of CPD using a gasified liquid has become popular when constructing wells in fields with depleted productive layers. These technologies make it possible to maintain the required value of the well bottom pressure both during circulation and in its absence, to vary it in case of loss/manifestation signs. Such drilling conditions significantly reduce the degree of impact on the productive formation, which increases the potential production rate compared to wells drilled by applying the traditional method. The purpose of this technology introduction is to reduce the proportion of catastrophic losses and, as a result, non-productive time, control over pressure in the well, reduction of the well bottom zone damage and penetration rate increase.
