ANALYSIS OF THE POSSIBILITY OF USING FILTER ELEMENTS TO PROTECT DOWNHOLE PUMPING EQUIPMENT FROM MECHANICAL IMPURITIES

Annotation:

The paper analyzes the possibilities of using filter elements to protect well pumping equipment from mechanical impurities. The analysis is carried out for various operating conditions of the equipment. The areas of inefficient use of standard filter elements are identified and it is proposed to use filter elements made of oleophobic materials that ensure not only the creation of a pre-filter of mechanical impurities with oil on the surface of the equipment, but also the destruction of this pre-filter (self-cleaning of the filter) when the mode of movement of the liquid being cleaned changes.
