Annotation:

When developing and operating gas and gas condensate fields as well as reserving natural gas in underground gas storage facilities, there often arise situations associated with gas abrasive and hydro-abrasive wear of field equipment, formation of clay-sand plugs in wellbores, partial or complete plugging of gas-gathering networks, etc. Similar situations occur when, together with the gas, formation sand (rock) and liquid are carried out and hydrate structures of various compositions are formed. The simultaneous presence of solid mechanical impurities and liquid in natural gas complicates the supply of hydrocarbon raw materials to the consumer, requires an increased load of cleaning systems and preparation of a conditioned product. The worst scenario with unacceptable levels of sand and liquid content in well production is the occurrence of emergency situations due to abrasive wear of pipelines and valves, which leads to their shutdown and subsequent expensive repairs. On the other hand, serious risks are caused by the formation of complexly composed hydrate structures, which also leads to increased consumption of the inhibitor, partial or complete interruption of natural gas supply to the consumer, increased wear of field equipment, loss of produced products, environmental pollution and significant costs for repair and recovery activity.
