Annotation:

The authors of the article consider the problems of sedimentation of asphaltene, resins and solids particles from non-Newtonian oil volumes. It has been revealed that effective viscosity of oil dispersed system, coefficient of particles resistance, their concentration, size and forms influence particles sedimentation velocity. Based on the experimental information, models for the calculation of the solid particles resistance coefficient in non-Newtonian oil are proposed. Formulas for estimating the velocity of solid particles sedimentation from viscous-plastic non-Newtonian oil have been obtained and their comparison with the existing experimental data has been carried out.
