Annotation:

Mineral resources are mainly extracted by drilling oil and gas wells as well as blasting wells in open pits. The rolling-cutter drill bit occupies a central place in the drilling complex. The article discusses the design features of the cone drill bits and the stages of its updating. It is noted that the main structural elements of cone drill bits are the following ones: drill bit cutting structures, supporting and flushing unit as well as drill bit threaded connection.
