Annotation:

By now, a great number of different modifications of gas separators and gas separators-dispersants are presented in the Russian market. The information specified in the passport of the supplied products does not allow for a reasonable and effective selection of the equipment that should be equipped by gas separators. The absence of many technical characteristics of gas separators and dispersants does not allow the use of modern computer programs for the selection of this equipment. To solve the problems of determining the technical characteristics, a methodology for conducting bench tests of gas separators and dispersants was developed, and a test bench was assembled and certified. The description of the bench and the methodology for testing gas separators for wear resistance is also given. The results of bench tests made it possible to modernize the "Autotechnolog" software package in terms of the selection of gas separators for certain operational conditions.
