Annotation:

The paper shows possibilities of modern seismic survey for a detail study of a productive pack of the Upper Artian horizon in the Lower Permian age deposits, the productivity of which is proved by drilling in the well-known fields. The relevance of the work is caused by the necessity of hydrocarbon reserves increase due to the search for new oil and gas potential objects in the deposits of the middle Artian age. Due to the high resolution of the wide azimuth seismic survey, the authors for the first time managed to identify the boundary in the wave field that controls the top of the Middle Artian age formation member. Correlation of the horizon within the studied area with subsequent structural construction made it possible to clarify the geometry of the previously identified gas condensate fields and reveal similar objects on the slope of the Lower Permian side scarp, promising for hydrocarbon prospecting. Based on the results of the studies, the authors revised their views on the structure of the discovered fields, which made it possible to explain the regularities of the productivity of drilled wells; to clarify the geological structure of the Artian deposits of the zone of the Lower Permian side scarp.
