Annotation:

The paper discusses scientific publications of domestic and foreign experts devoted to laboratory studies of various fluids effect on the physical and mechanical properties of carbonate reservoir rocks. The results of the experiments showing changes in these properties under the influence of coupled mechanical and chemical effects are given. It is noted that the filtration of physically-chemically active fluids can cause an intensive change in the elastic, strength and plastic properties of carbonate rocks, which should lead to significant variations in the stress-strain state of productive carbonate development objects during their development.
