Annotation:

The possibility of impermeable fault (screen) identification in an everlasting homogeneous environment by using interference testing data of two wells located on one side from the screen is studied by applying the method of mathematical modeling. It was shown that such goal can be achieved if one or both well distances from the screen are known; moreover, screen identification is possible for certain combinations of distance values only. The preparatory stage with a remarkable volume of numerical modeling is mandatory prior implementation of such type of interference testing in order to determine the interference testing implementation expediency and the required accuracy of pressure measurement.
