Annotation:

The reliability of structural modeling based on operational drilling data largely depends on the accuracy of directional wells inclinometry. The article overviews the types of inclinometers used according to the principle of operation, provides information on the technical characteristics of the devices. The methodology is considered and graphs for calculating the errors of determining true vertical depth for specific types of inclinometers are proposed. When carrying out geological modeling of a complexly-composed object, a new method for calculating corrections into structural modeling, taking into account instrumental and subjective factors, that determine the presence of inclinometry errors is presented on a practical example.
