Annotation:

The article presents the results of the analysis of the reservoir oils physical-chemical properties of the Samotlor field and one of the fields of the Central Khoravey uplift (CKhU). A large volume of data obtained during the study of deep and surface oil samples was analyzed. The results of the analysis are illustrated by graphs. Two main causes of oil properties change which are revealed during the development process are shown: the first one is spatial – both by the depth of the layers location (the multi-layer Samotlor deposit) and by the strike of the layers (the CKhU deposit), and the second one is the technogenic effect of fields’ development using flooding. Recommendations are given on the fields’ residual oil development by using flooding.
