Annotation:

When designing technological installations for the preparation of borehole products, it is necessary to know the dynamic viscosity of the oil-water emulsion. It is not always possible to experimentally determine the viscosity and physical-chemical parameters of an oil-water emulsion, in this regard, the analytical dependencies used in the Aspen Hysys complex to determine the dynamic viscosity at different temperatures was analyzed. The calculated data were compared with experimental data obtained by physical modeling of the oil-water emulsion viscosity of the Chayandinskoye field. As a result of the work, an alternative formula possessing no empirical constants in its composition is proposed, which describes the entire possible range of water-flooding and has a relatively small forecast error.
