Annotation:

Due to the depletion of drained oil reserves in the fields of the Russian Federation, the issues of looking for reserves that are not involved in the development and have the potential for their development using new technologies that ensure oil production intensification become topical. Such a technology is drilling of long horizontal wellbores (HW) of wells by using multi-stage hydraulic fracturing (MSHF). HW technology with MSHF is actively used for unconventional low-permeable reservoirs. The article presents an approach for prospecting and evaluating promising areas by updating the petro-physical model and reducing the boundary value of porosity, reinterpreting the well logging database, updating the geological model, identifying promising areas and calculating the predictive effectiveness of the taken measures with the help of a sector filtration model.
