Annotation:

The article assesses the influence of geodynamic processes on the formation of the structural-tectonic appearance of the region and the ontogenesis of gas and oil accumulations in the southern part of the East Siberian oil and gas megaprovince, Along with the thermal, the geodynamic factor of catagenesis has become one of the main ones in initiating the processes of organic matter transformation in ancient parent strata and the generation of only hydrocarbon gases in the areas with active compression influence, and in traps their formation (gas), reformation (multisystems of varying degrees of transition state) and destruction (oil). Among the numerous problems, the complex geological composition of all the structural elements of the megaprovince and the conditions the formation of deposits of various phase states within them remain and require clarification, primarily in its southern part, where certain achievements have already been obtained in the formation of the center of oil and gas production and long-distance transportation of hydrocarbons ("The Power of Siberia").
