Annotation:
The Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly is located within the Pre-Ural marginal trough in a complex tectonic setting. The studies, conducted by V.A. Shapiro, revealed the fact that in the area of the Manchazhskaya and Orenburg magnetic anomalies the magnetic field grows by about +5 nT per year. The anomalies are confined to the supposed radial fault of the north-eastern strike of the Sverdlovsk ring mega-structure. The oil fields of the Devonian graben-like troughs of Bashkiria are located in the zone of the same fault. The objective of the authors of the article is to study the tectonics of the Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly area using the latest geological and geophysical data and to identify common features of its structure with the zone of graben-like troughs of Bashkiria. The work included an analysis of the results of an aeromagnetic survey along three profiles intersecting the magnetic anomaly and a three-dimensional model of A.V. Ovcharenko using magnetic and gravitational fields’ data. According to the results of the aeromagnetic survey, the maximum Ta values (more than 710 nTl) are confined to the central part of the anomaly, where studies in previous years recorded an the magnetic field increase. The above-mentioned radial fault of the north-eastern strike of the Sverdlovsk ring mega-structure also corresponds to this zone. The three-dimensional model of the Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly demonstrates its confinement to a system of faults mainly of the northeastern and northwestern strike. The system of north-western faults of the Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly coincides in striking with nearby first-order faults of the folded structures of the Urals, concentric faults of the Sverdlovsk ring mega-structure and chains of ring structures with diameters of 10…24 km. The system of the north-eastern faults of the anomaly also coincides with nearby faults of the Urals and the radial fault of the Sverdlovsk ring mega-structure. Three oil fields have been discovered in the north-west of the Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly. Thus, the results of aeromagnetic and ground-based geological-geophysical studies, performed in the territory of Manchazhskaya magnetic anomaly, confirm the fact that it may be the north-eastern part of the oil and gas promising zone of the Devonian graben-like troughs of the Russian platform in Bashkiria.
