Annotation:

The paper presents the results of studies carried out to establish the initial position of the oil-water contact (OWC) in the Eiffel layer of the Middle Devonian (D2st-ef) of the Yarega oil field. The aim of the study was to determine the surface slope of the OWC initial position and its dependence on the well location. The problem was solved by the methods of multivariate analysis of variance. Based on the results of the conducted analysis, the change in OWC marks revealed the fact that in reality there observed an increase of OWC over time in the direction from the north to south and from the west to east.
