Fractal characteristics of time series of liquid fluids production from oil-producing wells and deposits

Annotation:

Widely used methods for estimating the Hurst H index of time series (TS) of liquid fluids production dynamics from oil wells are compared. The proportionality of the H value calculated by the cellular, R/S, minimum coverage and step-by-step methods can be judged by a large amount of data presented in the figures and in the table. The authors of the article show the influence of the number of definitions N and the Chizhevsky – E. Naiman cycles on H depending on the ratio of the viscosities of oil and the agent displacing it. Processing of E. Naiman’s theoretical calculations showed that the range of H values with a high probability of random events is significantly narrower and is in the transition zone between two asymptotes (0,436; 0,551), the presence of which is confirmed by test points. An example of the feasibility of searching for a connection between TS of the same physical essence is given.
