Annotation:

The speed of knowledge and experience dissemination, the speed of decision-making and other aspects of management, determined by the human factor, play an important role in the development of projects to reduce carbon dioxide emissions at exploration and production facilities. To speed up the decision-making process, which is currently difficult due to a number of technical reasons, engineers need tools to improve the process of developing projects for the transition to low-carbon energy. In the course of this study, the concept of the approach to systematization of knowledge in the field of decarbonization is proposed. The implementation of the proposed approach will result in the proposal of a set of options for technological solutions in the field of decarbonization based on input data – the characteristics of the field being developed. The implementation of the concept in the form of a software package will increase the speed of decision-making on the choice between various methods of decarbonization of oil and gas fields as well as get closer to the principles of ESG and sustainable development.
