Improving development of tournaisian-famennian deposits as one of the factors of oil production growth in the Perm region

Annotation:

The study considers the objects of development of the Famennian-Tournaisian oil and gas complex of the Perm Region, which is one of the oldest regions of hydrocarbon production in Russia. On the example of the largest oil-producing enterprise of the Perm Region, LLC “LUKOIL-PERM” the factors of growth in oil production for the period 2000–2019 for the specified complex were analyzed. The purpose of the work was to identify fields characterized by an increase in oil production in the period 2000–2019, ranking them by the magnitude of the increase in production and the timing of the start of development. As a result, the main factors of production increase are identified on the example of the most characteristic of the deposits. The role of development technologies which made it possible to put into operation previously poorly drained or non-drained reserves, is noted. A number of factors that contributed to the formation of integrated solutions to improve the development due to the large-scale application of geological and technical measures related to geological conditions and available technical capabilities that provide cost-effective results are indicated. It is also noted that, given the decline of the structure of reserves, the issue of increasing the technological efficiency of the use of new methods is crucial. At the same time, an equally important issue is to reduce the costs of geotechnical s, which should significantly expand the scope of their application towards less productive reserves. The results presented are another step in generalizing the experience of field development aimed at a detailed search and analysis of the oil production increase causes in the Perm Region.
