Annotation:
The article proposes a method for normative calculation of the stress-deformed state of trunk gas and oil pipeline operating under conditions of elastoplastic deformations using a normalized stress-strain diagram and determining the variables of the Poisson’s ratio and modulus of elasticity. It is noted that this method meets the regulatory requirements for the design of trunk pipelines and eliminates an unjustified increase in the wall thickness of the pipeline as well as expands the range of permissible temperature fluctuations.
