Annotation:
A decrease in the bottomhole pressure of a production well below the bubble point pressure leads to the formation of a degassing area, within which two-phase filtration of oil and gas occurs. It is in this zone, near the bottomhole zone of the well, that processes that negatively affect oil filtration occur: deformation processes in the reservoir, leading to a change in permeability, an increase in oil viscosity, and a decrease in oil mobility. This paper proposes an analytical method for determining the size of the degassing area during the operation of a horizontal well, and compares the results with and without changes in reservoir permeability and oil viscosity when the bottomhole pressure decreases below the bubble point pressure. The proposed method makes it possible to evaluate the effect of the degree of reduction of downhole pressure on the size of the degassing area of a horizontal well. The size of the degassing area formed during the operation of a horizontal well with an open hole and with perforation intervals is compared.
