The content of macro components and manganese in the surface horizons of the ombrotrophic peat bogs deposits of the Bovanenkovskoye field

Annotation:

The authors of the article present the results of the ecological situation assessment on the territory of the Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field. Sampling of surface horizons of ombrotrophic peat was carried out. The content of the main macronutrients and manganese in the samples was determined by using high-precision atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES). It was revealed that the contents of the studied elements were comparable for sites with different degrees of anthropogenic load (the area of the conditional background, the territory of industrial development). It was determined that Mn should be considered an indicator of technogenic impact. It was concluded that for the majority of samples (77 %), the level of pollution corresponds to the permissible one, but in some territories there observed an increase of environmental danger to "medium, moderately dangerous" and "high, dangerous" levels. According to the results of the factor analysis, it was revealed that under background conditions, the accumulation of elements occurs in two ways (terrigenous and biogeochemical), a greater number of geochemical associations of elements are formed in the located areas near industrial facilities.
