Annotation:

The article presents a description of the author’s methodology for selecting downhole pumping equipment (DPE) and substantiating the operational mode of wells during a short-term periodic operation. The methodology was developed in order to increase the efficient operation of the mechanized well fund of the Western Siberia fields. An example of applying the methodology for selecting DPE and substantiating a short-term periodic mode for the conditions of a well located in the West Siberian region is given.
