Prediction of a hydraulic fracturing efficiency by geological indicators

Annotation:

The hydraulic fracturing method is widely used to increase wells productivity. Unfortunately, the results obtained in practice do not always correspond to preliminary calculations and do not reach the planned oil production rates. Using the example of one of the fields in the Perm Territory, a method is proposed that allows, using the values of the geological parameters of productive deposits, applying the methods of mathematical statistics, to estimate the initial oil production rate after hydraulic fracturing of a formation. A good agreement between the model and practical results is obtained.
