Annotation:

The article demonstrates the use of the method presented in the previous studies by the authors for estimating phase flow rates by zones in intelligent wells. The algorithm was tested on the field data obtained from the horizontal well in the North Caspian Sea field, equipped by the intelligent completion system with downhole telemetry. The analysis of the main technological indicators of the well under consideration from the beginning of its putting into operation is given. Based on the results of the implementation of the developed approach to phase flow-rates estimation by the zones, together with the analysis of the dynamics of temperature and electric capacity, the historical data on the performance of each zone of the intelligent well were restored. The obtained convergence of the interpretation of zone flow rates with multiphase measurements at the wellhead is within 10 %. Quantitative determination of production rates, water cut and gas oil ratio by the well zones made it possible to identify the main sources of water cuts and gas breakthroughs. Based on these data, decisions were made to switch inflow control valves, which led to an increase of oil production and a decrease of water cut of the well. It is shown that the estimation of per-zone phase flow rates is the main one for the reasonable management of production by zones in an intelligent well in order to optimize oil production.
