Annotation:

In general, optimization of oil wells grid can be considered as a method of proactive control and enhanced oil recovery of oil fields. The goals of optimizing the wells grid ultimately come down to two main results: increasing production of the existing oil fields and increasing the economic efficiency of non-draining reserves development. The technology is based on a more detailed study of reservoir characteristics, lithology, fluid properties, etc., which allows optimization of the planned wells density, for example, by creating zones that combine the optimal distance between each adjacent pair of wells.
