Development of a program for the implementation of a technique for oil and liquid production allocation in commingled production of two or more reservoirs

Annotation:

At the fields of Western Siberia, in order to increase the profitability of development, multilayer development objects are being implemented. However, such a solution is associated with the problem of uneven development of reserves and, as a result, ignorance of the actual distribution of production across reservoirs. The authors reviewed the existing techniques for production allocation between reservoirs that are part of one development objects. It has been suggested that the techniques for production allocation in proportion to kh will make it possible to obtain a reliable allocation of the production in the conditions of a rigid water drive mode. The proposed assumption is confirmed by comparing the results of hydrodynamic modeling. The developed program implements the techniques for production allocation in proportion to kh, where k is the weighted average permeability; h is the effective perforated thickness of the reservoir), which allows allocating oil and liquid production by reservoirs with a minimum error, which increases the reliability of the reserve recovery estimate. The article describes the interface and functionality of the developed software product for production allocation in commingled production. The project was implemented within the framework of the UMNIK program with the support of the Innovation Promotion Fund.
