Annotation:

The practicality and significance of petroleum engineers possessing programming skills within the framework of statistical data processing is confirmed by the example of using computer programs of their own design to form a reference sample base in order of further predicting the degree of complexity and type of a productive reservoir.

The results of many years of an automated procedure application for determining the requirements to the water injected into productive reservoirs of oil fields in terms of the content of oil and mechanical impurities within the framework of a training sampling at the stages of preparing design-technical and design-estimate documents are summarized.

The requirements to injecting the dispersed composition of solid suspended particles and emulsified oil when pumping water into the reservoir have been streamlined, depending on the properties and types of productive (hosting) reservoirs of oil deposits.
