Annotation:
The prolonged shutdown of the well stock due to oil production restrictions under the agreement between Russia and OPEC in 2019–2021 caused a multidirectional change of the field’s wells operational modes when they were restarted: some wells increased their flow rate, while the other ones decreased it.
The purpose of the study is to identify the causes of those changes. One of the influencing factors is the presence of communication between the productive and nearby water-saturated layers through hydraulic fractures.
The research process involved the construction and comparison of maps of geological and technological parameters, the changes of wells operational modes are analyzed and geological and hydrodynamic modeling is performed.
The study revealed a decrease of the intensity of water cross-flow from the fractured water-saturated formation into the production reservoir due to the pressure gradient reduction between them. This fact allows recommending wells connected with the water-saturated formation as priority candidates for repeated forced shutdowns.
