Annotation:
Innovative technologies introduction in energy companies is becoming an important factor of improving production efficiency, reducing operational costs and transitioning to sustainable development of the industry. However, the process of technological renewal imposes new requirements to personnel, transforming the existing structure of skills and competences. The authors of the article assess the impact of technological changes on the qualification requirements for the personnel of the energy industry. The study focuses on the necessity of adapting employees to the application of automated systems, the use of digital platforms and complex analytical instruments typical of the current stage of energy industry development. It is shown that successful integration of innovative solutions requires not only the development of technical standards, but also modernization of educational programs to train specialists with new competencies, including skills in digitalization, big data analysis and management of modern energy systems. The results of the work emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to the assessment and development of human resources potential as a key factor of successful transformation of energy companies in the context of scientific and technological progress.
